Global Study Trek's core program is a six-month "Global Competence Certificate Program" ("GCCP") a proprietary curriculum framework for high school and college-age youth which GST has developed. The curriculum framework has four components: (1) Participation in after-school and/or weekend courses and workshops in topics related to global issues, developing global competence and problem-solving skills; (2) Participation in international service learning & educational trip abroad; and (3) Completion of a final capstone project related to resolving a global conflict or achieving a United Nations Sustainable Development Goal. (4) Participation in a College Readiness Workshop (CRW) providing knowledge and skills to help empower and encourage students to pursue a college education. Participation in the GCCP, including international educational travel, will be offered free of charge to qualified and admitted participants.
